Words & Phrases
The humidity is terrible today.
It’s terribly humid today.
The movements in the formation are very difficult.
Hula is supposed to be graceful, do not take (long strides / big steps).
Have you been to Vietnam? (When we talk about visiting a country, city or area we use ‘to’ not ‘in’)
I’ve been to the event two times, this was the second time.
It was so hot and humid that my clothes were drenched in sweat.
The puppets look like they are walking on water. Puppeteers control the puppets with bamboo rods.
The park will have some events and places to eat. (The word “eating spaces” is not wrong, but English speakers usually say food areas or places to eat instead)
Appropriate Language
Gymnasium (noun) = a large room or building equipped for sports, exercise, or physical education
The students gathered in the gymnasium for the basketball game.
We usually have our PE class in the school gymnasium.
The gymnasium was filled with cheering crowds during the tournament.
Gymnastic (adjective) = relating to gymnastics or requiring agility, balance, and physical skill
She showed great gymnastic ability on the balance beam.
His gymnastic movements amazed the audience.
The festival included gymnastic performances by young athletes.

Often in English symbols have different names in different situations
On social media ‘#’ is called ‘a hashtag’
In music, ‘#’ is called ‘a sharp’
On a telephone, ‘#’ is called ‘pound’
As a special note ‘*’ is called ‘an asterisk’
On a telephone, ‘*’ is called ‘star’
