“Hinoki” is called Japanese cypress, while “sugi” is Japanese cedar.

Desert (noun) ˈdɛzərt/ DEZ-urt (Emphasis on the first syllable)
Dessert (noun) dɪˈzɜːrt/ dih-ZURT (Emphasis on the second syllable)
Deserted (adjoining) dɪˈzɜːrtɪd/ dih-ZUR-tid
The Physical World
Wood (noun) [C] = An area of land, smaller than a forest, that is covered with growing trees. This is often used in the plural (woods).
We went for a long walk in the woods behind our house.
Wild (noun) [the wild] = A natural state or uncultivated region; a place where humans do not live and where nature is in charge.
They spent two weeks camping in the wild without any electricity or phones.
Exercise 2
I went for a walk in nature. (We don’t use “the nature” here)
I went for a nature walk.
