  • Canadians do eat eel, but it’s not a major part of the mainstream diet across the country.

    • In some areas like Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, local freshwater eel has been traditionally fished and eaten, either smoked, grilled, or stewed.

  • I often see that restaurant advertised in the local newspaper.

    • Is it worth going?

  • My grandson likes to play ninja, so he carries a sword on his back.

  • What kind of dishes did you make?

    • What did you cook?

  • I walked them to the bus stop.

    • The school bus picks them up.

  • Do you think speaking English is enough for kids these days?

  • Parents should invest in their children’s future.

    • Parents should support or prepare for their children’s success, often by spending time, money, or effort on education, health, or life opportunities.
