• This writer is a bit eccentric and quirky.

  • “Eccentric” describes someone who acts or dresses a little strange or different, but in a fun and harmless way.

    • "Our old art teacher was eccentric—he always wore colourful hats inside the house."

  • “Quirky” describes someone who has unusualbutcute or charming habits.

    • "She has a quirky habit of talking to her plants every morning.”

• -ING describes the cause/situation

  • "The meal was disappointing." / "That sounds disappointing.”

• -ED describes the person’s reaction

  • “I felt disappointed with the food.” / “Were you disappointed with the service?”
