I (caught / came down with) a cold during my trip, but I still had enough energy to go out on some days.
Did you see the Holy Week parades while you were in Spain?

We could walk on the Roman aqueduct in Tarragona.
The Roman amphitheatre overlooks the sea.
The rice in the paella was (firm / al dente). (If we say “soft” is means overcooked)
Tender (adjective) = describes something soft, easy to chew, or delicate
The chef slow-cooked the beef for eight hours until it was so tender that it fell apart with just a fork.
The Sagrada Familia isn’t completely finished. The facade on the entrance still needs to be completed.
What impressed you the most on your trip?
I was impressed with Mont Saint-Michel. The tides are fast, so that was impressive.

Appropriate Language
"Corridor" is often used for commercial or public buildings, hallway is the more common term for residential homes.
The school's corridors were suddenly filled with the sound of laughter and slamming lockers as the final bell rang for summer break.
Hospital corridors are often painted in neutral colours and designed with wide paths to allow for the quick transport of patients on stretchers.
The walls of the hallway were lined with framed family photographs, creating a timeline of memories as you walked toward the kitchen.
When designing a home, architects often try to minimize the length of hallways to maximize the usable square footage of the actual rooms.
