Is the author famous or well-known? (‘Author’ is more commonly used than ‘novelist.’)
Author (noun); A person who writes any kind of text — books, articles, poems, essays, etc.. It’s the more common term we use.
Novelist (noun); A person who writes novels.
I went to Kyoto three years ago.
It was three years ago when I went to Kyoto.
The last time I visited there was three years ago.
It’s been three years since I last went there.
Did you cry during the final scene of the film?
Did you tear up during the final scene? (Slightly softer than “cry”)
Did the last scene make you cry? (conversational)
Did you get emotional during the final scene?
Did the ending bring you to tears? (expressive)
If you see a movie you get three-hours of free parking.
Greengrocer (noun); A person or shop that sells fresh fruit and vegetables.
I stopped by the greengrocer to pick up some apples and carrots.
The local greengrocer always has seasonal produce.
She works at a greengrocer’s near the station.

Medication (noun); A substance used to treat or prevent illness or relieve symptoms. It can refer to both prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
He takes medication every morning for high blood pressure.
This medication should help reduce the pain.
I suffer from allergies all year round.
“My symptoms aren’t very severe.”
“The symptoms are manageable.”
“They’re not that serious.”
Run down (adjective – informal); Feeling tired, weak, or unwell, often due to overwork, stress, or lack of rest.
I’ve been feeling really run down lately—I think I need a break.
After working nonstop for weeks, he got completely run down and caught a cold.
