Words & Phrases
The doctor said it would take another half month for it to completely heal.
The bone is mostly (mended / knitted).
“Mended” means healed or repaired; this is natural and common for everyday conversation,
“Knitted” refers to how the bone tissues have grown back together; often used by doctors or in medical writing.
In each lesson, half of the members give a speech.
A lot of older people aren’t very good at using the internet.
She doesn’t know how to use the internet well.
When I was younger, my sister lived in Tokyo, so I used to come into the city to visit her.
Walking home from the supermarket, I was sweating buckets. (= you were sweating a lot)

Vocabulary
6 sedentary: means sitting most of the time, not active. Often used to describe office jobs or lifestyle.
3 expand your horizons (idiom); means to try new things, go new places, or learn more about the world.
8 transform; to change completely, a total or dramatic difference
9 vary: to change it, add different things, not always the same; adds more variety
I cut down on looking at my phone.
cut down on (something) (phrasal verb); means to reduce the amount of it.
