Words & Phrases

• The national volleyball team cannot advanced to the next tournament.

• His coaching style included a lot of verbal abuse towards his players.

  • Some coaches used to use threats of physical abuse to try to motivate students.

• I didn’t like the cheese included in the school lunch, so I hid it in my desk.

  • We were often (made / forced) to each our entire school lunch.

  • When I was a student we didn’t have a school lunch. We brought our lunch from home. (“Lunch box” is the container to carry a lunch)
