  • I get a dry hydromassage twice a month, where you basically lie on a cushioned water bed while water jets massaged you up and down.

  • I watched a movie about a retirement home for dementia patients. The story was very nice.

    • Retirement home Synonyms: Senior living community, eldercare facility, assisted living, rest home, nursing home (though levels of medical care differ)

  • Gachagacha are Japanese capsule toy vending machines. You insert coins (usually ¥100 to ¥500), turn a crank, and a random, surprise toy in a plastic capsule drops out.

    • It’s almost impossible to get the one toy you want, so people try again and again.

    • Have you ever tried (crane machine / UFO catcher) games?

    • Young girls go crazy over collecting puffy stickers!

  • I've had to water my bonsai twice a day recently. The only tough part in the evening is all the mosquitoes!

    • There are my new clothes made with bug-repellent material. The clothes still work even if you wash it many times.

    • You often see mosquito coils in Canada. The insect-repelling smoke is a staple for enjoying summer evenings outside.

    • I get bitten by mosquitoes all the time, but I don't get bumps. (= mosquito bite mark)

  • Part of the hill under the condo building gave way. It’s technically still safe, but it definitely doesn't look like it when you see it.

  • In one area, the ground is sloped and there are a lot of houses built on it.

    • That area has a lot of (stepped / hillside / tiered) homes.
