The risotto was baked in the oven, giving it a crunchy top and a creamy inside. (Here “creamy” is a better description than “soft”)

I know a lot of restaurants because of my music (class) friends. (A smoother version would be “my friends from music class”)

Grammar
The word "yet" has very strict rules in English
Rule 1: Use it for questions.
"Have you left the house yet?"
Rule 2: Use it for negative statements.
"I haven't eaten lunch yet."
