My daughter-in-law was told to rest and relax for a month by her doctor. (Passive voice)
“The doctor told my daughter-in-law to rest and relax for a month.” (Active voice)
My husband said he wasn’t going to drink much at his birthday dinner.

Bobby’s Big Dog (B & D)
Bobby had a big brown backpack with buttons and badges. Inside, he carried biscuits for his dog, Daisy. Daisy loved to dig in the dirt and bark at birds. One day, they went to the beach, and Daisy danced in the breeze while Bobby built a driftwood bridge. But when a bee buzzed by, Daisy darted behind a boulder, barking like a brave little dragon.
Lily and the Racing Robot (L & R)
Lily loved lollipops, ladders, and lions, but most of all, she loved her robot named Rico. Rico could run, roll, and read really fast! One rainy day, Lily and Rico raced through the library, leaping over rugs and reaching for red and lavender books. They laughed when a lizard landed on a radio and started rapping loudly. Lily clapped, and Rico did a robotic twirl.
