Travel is more general and ongoing.
“I love travelling.”
For travelling alone, the most natural phrases are solo trip or travelling on my own.
“I’m planning a solo trip.”
“I went on my own.”
For travelling with family, people usually say family trip or family holiday.
“We’re taking a family holiday.”
You’ll also hear “with the kids”.
For tour travel, the common terms are group tour, guided tour, and package tour.
“We joined a guided tour.”
“I did a package tour to Europe at the beginning of the year.”
