I came back Thursday of last week.

Tour Guide vs. Tour Conductor
While "conductor" is a word used for people who lead orchestras or check tickets on trains, it is almost never used for travel tours.
Tour Guide: The most common term for someone who explains the history and sights.
Tour Leader/Director: Often used for the person who manages the logistics and schedule for the whole group.
