Facades

(This is a work in progress to explore architecture and abstract landscapes.)

After photographing architectural abstracts from a distance, I had a notion to see what would happen to a building's unique features — after placing my camera directly against a building vertically did the entire facade disappear; a barren & hidden landscape was left behind. Each building having been rendered anonymous by having its unique facade stripped away, I instantly became interested in what hidden landscapes might be on the surface of buildings, and have started to document these architectural landscapes.
