  • Have you been to this exhibit?

    • I was strongly recommend to go and see this exhibition.

  • The domestic flight we transferred to was full.

  • When travelled to some countryside areas, not major cities. (In English, everywhere is a "local area" to the people who live there, so it can sound just a little vague.)

    • Was the trip for business or pleasure?

  • Which coffee shop is most popular in Japan?

  • What was your impression of the Terracotta Army?

    • Some of the statues are found whole, but most are broken.

    • Are the statues life size?

  • The sleeper car I used had bunk beds for four people.

    • The food in the dining car was served warm.

  • The structure of the building looked poorly made. I feared that it would collapse.

Appropriate Language

  • Sheep (noun) = A farm animal with a thick coat of wool that eats grass and is kept for its wool or meat.

  • Lamb (noun) = A young sheep that is less than one year old. The meat from a young sheep that people use for food.

  • Mutton (Noun) = The meat from a fully grown, adult sheep used for food.
