After the move, the living room was filled with empty cardboard boxes that the kids immediately turned into a makeshift fort.
My class is mostly seniors. Everyone is much older than the teacher. (= people who are older than 65)
Some of the senior members have been in the group for 15 years. (= people who have been in the group for a long time)
Gunkanjima was developed by Mitsubishi in the late 19th century, it was a productive undersea coal mine.
One thing this town didn’t have was a crematorium for cremating people.

6 It’s getting very humid. We might have a (shower / storm / thunderstorm) later. (We cannot use “rain” here because “rain” is uncountable.)
